And here we go again. Just feast your eyes on this. On the site where there once stood a small storehouse that fishermen used to store their nets in. Hence the name “The Net Store”.
And where in the world are we? All the way up in the west-northwest corner of Scotland, where the landscape is dominated by cliff and fjord. Bordering the mighty Atlantic. Almost at the edge of the Earth…
Relatively speaking, of course. For the locals living in the area, this place is the hub of the universe. But if you are travelling from – let’s say – southern Europe, then our Q-Tee 2 is heating some place near the edge of the Earth…
For me, writing from here in Denmark, it’s quite a journey to Applecross Village and to the cliff’s edge looking out on the Hebrides.
