RAIS 600:3

On the wooded lot in scenic North Zealand, Denmark, a charming cottage rises proudly as a modern expression of aesthetics and function. This is the story of a three-year project that was caringly built around the existing cottage.

The cottage is a true expression of the couple’s love of nature and their desire for a home that blends in with the landscape. Linda, with her creative instincts, personally drew each room, while her husband, with his expertise, made sure that each step was solid and functional.

At the heart of the cottage is a RAIS 600:3, used not only as a heat source but as a gathering point for family and friends. It crackles and spreads heat while stories are shared and memories are made. “The fireplace is the centre of the cottage in more than one sense”, says Linda, owner of the cottage.
The vaulted ceiling opens the room and lets the light dance freely through the treetops, while a cozy alcove provides a private space for relaxation and reflection.1

But the cottage is not limited to indoor experiences. Outside, nature and man-made comfort are harmoniously integrated. An outdoor shower allows residents to rinse away the day under the open sky, while the rustling forest and birdsong mix with the sound of babbling water.

RAIS 600:3 is not just a heat source, but a living part of the cottage that contributes to its warmth and atmosphere. It is a symbol of craftsmanship and quality that complements the carefully designed cottage and its connection to the nature around it. Linda and her husband have created more than just a second home ‒they have created a sanctuary where the soul can find rest and the heart can feel at home.
