Gas stoves

How does a gas fireplace work?

A gas fireplace works like a closed combustion system with a double chimney. In other words, the fireplace emits fumes from one part of the duct, while the other part draws in combustion air. Thus, the gas fireplace in no way affects the indoor climate in the room.

Can I use my regular chimney?

Gas fireplaces use a different system than traditional wood burning stoves – namely one with two ducts in one. One for cold air that draws air in, and one for hot air that sends it out. But a gas fireplace doesn't require nearly as much chimney as an ordinary wood burning stove.

Does a gas fireplace produce heat?

Yes, it does. In some instances, a gas fireplace can produce more heat than a traditional wood-burning stove. Moreover, it is fast and easy to adjust the heat using the remote control or an app.

How do you supply gas to the stove?

External gas has to be supplied to the stove, either through a gas cylinder (can be concealed on the other side of the wall, for instance) or through installed gas (natural gas).

How do you set the gas fireplace?

It is fast and easy to set the gas fireplace using the accompanying remote control. With it, you can set how much heat you want from the gas fieplace.

Can I get an app for the gas fireplace?

Yes, you can. You simply need to connect a WiFi module and a power adaptor. For safety reasons, the gas fireplace can only be operated from the same network. The app is called "Myfire App" and is available for iOS and Android.
